PlaceWorks conducted detailed modeling of the project’s operational noise using the SoundPLAN software program. We also used SoundPLAN to generate a noise contour graphic that illustrated the projected noise levels at nearby residences from the proposed evening sports activities, including crowd and PA noise. We also evaluated impacts related to project construction and traffic noise, and we recommended mitigation measures to reduce noise impacts from the proposed sports events.
