PlaceWorks’ Principal Woodie Tescher helped the City of Santa Monica celebrate the 25th anniversary of the Third Street Promenade. Woodie was the lead planner for the project, and he and former mayor Denny Zane shared stories about the planning process. See article in the Santa Monica Daily Press.

PlaceWorks is the lead coordinator of an international design competition —called “Breaking New Ground”— focused on workforce housing for farm and service workers in the Coachella Valley. The competition is sponsored by The California Endowment as part of its Building Healthy Communities program.
