PlaceWorks Welcomes Malia Durand
We’re excited to announce that Malia Durand has joined PlaceWorks as an Associate Principal of Environmental Services. Malia is a highly skilled environmental planner with over 16 years of experience in environmental land use and urban planning. An adept problem solver, Malia is also an exceptional leader with strong communication skills.
Malia’s experience includes managing public- and private-sector CEQA/NEPA development projects throughout Southern California, as well as leading critical negotiations with local, state, and federal resource agencies regarding impacts to sensitive habitats, jurisdictional resources, and endangered species.
Malia will be based out of PlaceWorks’ Orange County office and will further advance our environmental practice in Southern California.
