Emily Fan Michaelson Joins PlaceWorks
Join us in welcoming Emily Fan Michaelson to the PlaceWorks team as an
Associate Principal of Outreach & Engagement Services!
Emily brings nearly 15 years of experience in public participation and strategic communication for a wide range of environmental and planning projects throughout California. Her specialties include developing tailored public involvement and stakeholder engagement strategies for complex projects involving water and energy resource management, land use, infrastructure, transportation, and environmental justice.
As a key element of her work, Emily regularly collaborates with government and nonprofit agencies to design and implement effective engagement programs that balance the needs of both the agencies and the public.
Based out of Southern California, Emily will lead community outreach and engagement efforts throughout the state. We’re thrilled to have Emily join our team and to connect her with our friends and colleagues at the APA CA Conference in Riverside.
