2025 EEPIC Program Applications Now Open
PlaceWorks is accepting applications for the 2025 Environmental, Engineering, and Planning Internship and Charrette (EEPIC) program now through February 7, 2025. We’re proud to be part of the EEPIC program, now is its 4th year, and to help promote diversity in the fields of environmental science, design, and urban planning by creating opportunities for students from historically under-represented groups, including but not limited to students who represent Black, Indigenous, and People of Color (BIPOC), as well as veterans, disabled individuals, and/or students who are first in their families to go to college.
EEPIC interns will work in-person at one of PlaceWorks’ California offices in Berkeley, Los Angeles, Orange County, or Sacramento for 3-4 months over the summer. During this time, interns will participate in a unique two-week charrette in the City of Berkeley, where they’ll collaborate on a real-world project addressing a planning challenge or goal.
This opportunity is available for junior and senior undergraduates, as well as graduate students. EEPIC is a collaborative effort between PlaceWorks and six other firms—Ascent, Dudek, ESA, Economic & Planning Systems, Fehr & Peers, and Rincon.
