2015 AEP California Conference

The AEP state conference in Santa Barbara was a great success. PlaceWorks staff moderated or otherwise participated in in seven workshops. Amid all the other activity, the PlaceWorks booth had a run on our “Practical Guide to CEQA.” If you missed it, it’s available on our Publications page, along with our other “Practical Guides,” “PlaceViews” newsletters, etc. A PlaceWorks project won a state award—”A Practical Guide to Planning Healthy Communities” won the Public Involvement/Education Award of Merit—and PlaceWorks staff participated in organizing the AEP Northern California Conference, which won the Outstanding Chapter Activity/Program Award.

PlaceWorks principal Steve Noack received the AEP Board Service Certificate of Appreciation for his tenure as executive vice president on the state AEP Board.
