Jonathan Nettler, AICP Joins PlaceWorks

We are excited to announce that Jonathan Nettler, AICP, has joined PlaceWorks as the Los Angeles Regional Director.

Jonathan is an accomplished leader who has spent over 15 years helping to create healthy, vibrant, and sustainable places. His experience in real estate, land use planning, historic preservation, and large-scale urban design provides him with the cross-disciplinary skill set and perspective needed to effectively tackle the unique challenges in the Los Angeles region.

Before joining PlaceWorks, Jonathan was Senior Director of the Urban Land Institute’s Los Angeles District Council, where he managed the organization’s day-to-day operations, implemented district council events to advance current topics, facilitated technical advisory panels, and expanded ULI membership in the region. He has also served as Managing Editor of Planetizen.com, a project manager with Ehrenkrantz Eckstut & Kuhn Architects in New York and Los Angeles, and an architectural historian in Los Angeles, San Francisco, and Washington DC.

As PlaceWorks’ Los Angeles Regional Director, Jonathan will help lead our Los Angeles office and manage a range of planning and design projects throughout the region.
