Michael Nilsson Joins PlaceWorks
PlaceWorks is pleased to announce that Michael Nilsson, AICP CTP, has joined our San Diego office as a Senior Associate for Active Transportation.
Michael has 15 years of experience in both the public and private sector and specializes in mobility and active transportation planning, outreach, and implementation. Most recently, he served as Senior Mobility Planner at the City of Glendale, where he successfully led numerous award-winning projects. Working with government agencies, private developers, nonprofits, and advocacy groups, Michael has guided a diverse array of complex and innovative projects from vision to reality.
Michael will work closely with all of our offices to champion and expand PlaceWorks’ capabilities in active transportation planning and implementation, including complete streets, bicycle, and pedestrian planning, as well as complement our existing green streets design work.
