Shaw Avenue Corridor Plan
The Shaw Avenue Corridor Plan is a focused land use planning, design, regulatory, and financing effort for a key 1.75-mile commercial corridor adjacent to Fresno State in the City of Clovis. The plan identifies land use, housing, transportation, and economic development strategies to reimagine and revitalize the city’s main commercial corridor from SR-168 to Clovis Avenue. It also creates the regulatory mechanisms to amend the current zoning regulations, thus providing implementation, not just planning. The corridor plan’s land use plan was incorporated into the General Plan EIR to minimize the corridor plan’s cost and timing.
