San Joaquin River Parkway Master Plan Update & EIR for the San Joaquin River Conservancy. A 23-mile-long regional greenspace and wildlife corridor along both sides of the San Joaquin River, the San Joaquin River Parkway straddles Madera and Fresno Counties, extending from the Friant Dam to Highway 99, and includes an interconnected trail system and recreational and educational features. PlaceWorks assisted the San Joaquin River Conservancy in preparing a Master Plan Update that integrates natural resource management planning with traditional park planning to fully realize the Parkway’s potential as a continuous integrated system of habitats and public use.
