Downtown Livermore Public Outreach

PlaceWorks helped the City of Livermore conduct a major public outreach process to determine key land use changes for 8+ acres of city-owned land in the downtown. The extensive outreach process included facilitating 9 meetings with a 19-member steering committee, 7 workshops, 10 pop-up events, 2 downtown walking tours, a robust online civic engagement platform, and numerous presentations to community groups. Additionally, PlaceWorks prepared four land use concepts with visual simulations to help spark public opinion and generated all outreach and meeting materials in both English and Spanish.
