Arrow Highway Multijurisdictional Corridor Planning

As part of the San Gabriel Valley Compass Blueprint Implementation Project, the Arrow Highway project coordinated the interests and efforts of six jurisdictions to improve the eight miles of the Arrow Highway corridor from Interstate 605 in Irwindale to the City of San Dimas. The vision revolved around the creation of three distinct districts and the identification of key land use and transit nodes. Focused land use, design, and economic studies explored options for specific parcels and for facilitating connections to nearby transit facilities. Finally, PlaceWorks team provided direction on multi-jurisdictional tools to coordinate future improvements and activities throughout the corridor.
